TOUR OF BARRY J. NIDORF JUVENILE HALL

We toured another Juvenile Hall site today to bring yoga to kids serving life in prison. Tried as "adults". OH MAN. I know our yoga can provide them some peace.


Mary Newman and I drove to Sylmar and were pretty nervous I have to say. Once we met the staff and went on the tour of the facility, I was completely welcomed and filled with years of experience of stories and ease, I can say I am fully confident we are in great hands to bring our yoga program!

The idea of kids serving life is hard to fathom. I'm sure the crimes that were committed are equally heinous and hard to stomach. I know yoga can help this population. I know that we can bring healing tools for breathing, stress reduction and ways to calm these kids. I'm honored to be a part of the solution.
