Road trip nation visits yoga class at SBCC

Grateful to Road Trip Nation, the show from PBS http://roadtripnation.com/watch/public-television/why-not-us Thank you for the opportunity to meet and share yoga and powerful life stories that enriched what I've been doing with UpRising Yoga.

We had 30 yoga students and ran out of mats! There were maybe 8 brand new first timers to the yoga experience and I hope you continue the journey with us. It's always especially meaningful to hear what came up for you in class, in your bodies and what triggers memories from movement. This is the start of healing trauma, which we all have encountered in one way or another.

Special thanks to Summer for Spanish translation during yoga class, Ryan for asking me to sign his baby's jumper and Michael for asking me what it's like to be a hero.
