Farewell Jen Montag

Special thanks to our volunteer Jen Montag who passed away recently. We are so saddened to hear of her passing. She was a star volunteer for UpRising Yoga, rising in the early morning to help us at the Homeboy Industries 5K event, Jen travelled all the way from Long Beach to do that which bowled me over! She also worked hard on our annual gala, tracking down and procuring silent auction items and doing all the behind the scenes work to make our event a success.

She never mentioned being sick. Not once. She just did everything possible to help UpRising Yoga. She was a sweet soul on this earth. I will be eternally grateful for her service, her hilarious sense of humor  and having met her. Rest in Peace Beauty. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti with love, Jill
